Cory & Amy Engagement Session

Cory & Amy Engagement Session

After four wonderful years of falling in love Cory popped the question to his beautiful future bride Amy in such a romantic way. He planned out a stunning dinner at the Fiorelli Winery where he got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to be his forever. He had me arrive early so that I was able to truly capture each and every moment of the evening leading up to the perfect question. They both work in the Tampa Bay Area wedding industry and that is how they met, how wonderful that now they get to plan their own! They are going to tie the knot this summer in a romantic destination wedding in Nashville, Tennessee with friends and family coming in from all over. Don’t you think Cory did a beautiful job planning out this engagement session, such a wonderful location and perfect evening. Love getting to be apart of these moments.

Alex & Brittany Atlanta Engagement Session

Aren’t the colors in these images just breathtaking? What a truly gorgeous shoot we had this day, can’t believe it was so cold, 34 degrees and you can’t even tell. They look like professionals in front of the camera. So much love in their eyes, high school sweethearts, you could just sense their connection being around them. A beautiful Atlanta, Georgia engagement could only be paired with an equally beautiful engagement shoot. After a little bit of searching we were about to find the perfect spot for their shoot, an old mill back in the woods with a stunning waterfall. The characteristics of the mill and the colors of the foliage really made their outfits pop even more! It was so chilly, we were covered in goosebumps, I couldn’t believe that they still got in the water with how cold it was, but they knew the shots they wanted and we made them happen.

F Family | Sisters Session | Downtown Tampa

I had such a blast photographing the F sisters, for their sister session! They are both just absolutely gorgeous, just like their mom. Their sisterly bond is so evident in these images, and I'm so happy to have been able to capture it. Their shoot took place in Downtown Tampa. The University of Tampa has so much variety, from the buildings to the campus around it. The bonus is the Hillsbourough river is right there in the backdrop along with all of the buildings of Downtown.

St. Pete Mother & Daughter Session | Downtown Saint Petersburg FL

I had such a wonderful time documenting the bond between this stunning mother & daughter. Momma looked like a movie star, and her daughter looked so beautiful in her white dress! She looks so much like her mother am I right? For this session I knew Downtown St. Pete would pair perfect with their attire. The Vinoy is a great spot for a portrait session.  I love the contrast of the red dress against the tropical green and pink of the Vinoy. I love photographing these two, we typically do three sessions a year. Mom spends a lot of time figuring out what they will wear and the style they would like. I always apprechiate when client's are so invested in their sessions, it makes for great pictures! I am so happy they will have these moments to cherish through out life.

BROOKE + JOHNNY | BACK IN THE DRESS SESSION | TAMPA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

It's not often that a Bride and Groom will be dressed up in their wedding day attire aside from the day they say "I do".

Why not relive the happiest day of your life, get dressed up and experience that moment all over again? That's exactly what Brooke and Johnny did in their Sarasota FL, back in the dress session. Their back in the dress session featured tropical scenery, a florida country farm, and a horse to top it all off, but what made this session the most meaningful was the undeniable love Brooke and Johnny share for one another.

M Family | Downtown Tampa Family Session

The M Family session takes us to downtown Tampa to capture images of their two daughters on a cool Fall day.  We decided to start our session at Curtis Hixon Park, a family friendly park with beautiful features such as the Tampa Riverwalk and the Hillsborough River.  The images captured at Curtis Hixon Park had plenty of green space to compliment the girls' pink and neutral wardrobe.

Our next location was the Tampa Theater and walking throughout the downtown area.  The girls had a great time enjoying the sights and walking around to find places to capture images.  Images of the downtown background were the perfect touch of cool grays along the brick paved streets and walkways.  One of the favorite images captured is when both girls jumped in the air above the brick paved street.

Both girls enjoyed their individual time in front of the camera but when they were together, you can see their sisterly bond.  Each location allowed for multidimensional images that tell a story of two little girls taking over the city.

Photo sessions tells a story and details are my specialty.  Each session is planned carefully through site locations, wardrobe and overall theme of the day.

Brooke | Tampa, Equestrian Senior Session

When the sweet little girl that you watched grow up suddenly begins her senior year, it is only appropriate to have a photo session!  We wanted to find a location that would describe who Brooke is and her passion for horses.  Finding a location in Tampa with a barn, was the perfect setting to capture the beauty behind Brooke's blue eyes and her quarter horse, Frenchie.

Brooke dressed the part of an avid horse aficionado, with her her riding boots, tan colored pants and burgundy top.  Her youthful demeanor did not go unnoticed as she showed her love for Frenchie and taking the time to pose like a professional model.

It is hard to pick favorites among the countless images we took, but Brooke's head-shot and standing in the field are among the top.  My favorite picture together has to be when Brooke gives a gentle kiss on Frenchie's nose and when they are standing together with the sun coming through the background.

I look forward to seeing Brooke's journey as she starts college and pursues equestrian studies.

Amy & Shaun | Sawgrass Park Engagement Session | St. Petersburg Engagement Photographer.

I had the pleasure of shooting a sunrise engagement session for Amy & Shaun. It was a beautiful fall morning and the sun and setting could not have been more perfect. Sawgrass park is one of my favorite location's for sessions. It feels like you are in the mountains, somewhere far away from the Tampa Bay hustle and bustle. Amy and Shaun were so adorable and fun, you could see the love they had for each other in their images!

Downtown St. Pete Sunrise Family Session... St. Petersburg Family Photographer

It has been a while since I have blogged! I am so behind with beautiful sessions and weddings to show you all! Here is a beautiful session I did in downtown St. Pete! A lot of my clients have been opting for sunrise sessions. There are several benefits to these early morning sessions. The first is, you have the place to yourselves, which allows for photo's without you being in anyone's way for vice versa. The weather is cooler and kids seem to be happier first thing in the morning. Not sure if you could do an early morning session? Check out the session below, it may change your mind!

Ethan & Cait- Laurel Gardens Wedding, Dade City Wedding Photographer

Cait and I met on a photography retreat. She was there as one of the models. We were cabin mates and bonded over the unique experience we had that weekend. We became friends over the next few months. I asked her to do some shoots with me and we would literally spend nine hours straight together, talking, hanging out, creating art. I would jokingly call her my muse. We had talked a lot about relationships. Cait is a rare breed, shes as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside and so unbelievably genuine. You literally want to keep her in your pocket and carry her around with you, because spending time with her makes you that much happier. I remember when she told me about Ethan. We were driving over the top of the Sunshine Skyway bridge and I was listening to her talk about him. I knew right then and there that he was the "One" for her. They weren't even official yet, they were still just "talking." But within a few weeks I saw them make it Facebook Official and things moved quite quickly. It was a love where you could see that they as a couple were helping each other grow and becoming better people because of the relationship. I saw Cait grow  by leaps and bounds and I loved seeing their relationship blossom. Ethan asked Cait to Marry him with a surprise proposal on the beach....which consisted of him singing to her, a lot of candles and their close friends and family hiding not too far away! The next week Cait messaged me about shooting her wedding and I was so ridiculously honored. I couldn't imagine anything better then being part of their day. They chose to have their wedding at Laurel Wood Gardens. The venue is set in Dade city, amongst horse farms and rolling hills. It reminds me of them a lot because they enjoy the outdoors and hiking. Her theme was an eclectic, whimsical ethereal look. Lots of lace, pastels and very soft details. The day came out fantastically, every detail was perfect, the weather was gorgeous and the couples love shined through. Being surrounded by so many family and friends who loved them was a testament of what kind of people Cait & Ethan are. I am so excited to share with you their wedding pictures and I wish them many years of happiness!

Heather & Rik's destination wedding- Sirata beach resort wedding- St Pete beach wedding photographer

Rik and Heather met in 2008 while working at the Apple Store, SoHo, in NYC.  They were both on the Theater Team giving workshops on software and products. They realized that they only lived four blocks away from each other at the time. They became friends...and several years later, realized there was much more then friendship blossoming! Rik proposed to Heather in Central Park at "their spot" with his grand mother's ring. Heather accepted the proposal among tears and laughter! They chose to wed on St. Petersburg beach, the same beach Heather's parents met on. They had an Apple Inc, fall themed wedding. It was fun to see how they told their story through out the night. Their cake was topped with them in an Iphone, apple centerpieces, a real time slideshow of images guest's loaded. Rik is an illustrator by trade and another unique touch was he custom designed coloring pages for the kids and created mad libs for the all guests to fill out. How fun will it be, to go back and read them all when they get home from their honeymoon! They were such an amazing couple and I wish them many years of happiness! I hope you enjoy their
