Cory & Amy Engagement Session

Cory & Amy Engagement Session

After four wonderful years of falling in love Cory popped the question to his beautiful future bride Amy in such a romantic way. He planned out a stunning dinner at the Fiorelli Winery where he got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to be his forever. He had me arrive early so that I was able to truly capture each and every moment of the evening leading up to the perfect question. They both work in the Tampa Bay Area wedding industry and that is how they met, how wonderful that now they get to plan their own! They are going to tie the knot this summer in a romantic destination wedding in Nashville, Tennessee with friends and family coming in from all over. Don’t you think Cory did a beautiful job planning out this engagement session, such a wonderful location and perfect evening. Love getting to be apart of these moments.

Alex & Brittany Atlanta Engagement Session

Alex & Brittany Atlanta Engagement Session

Aren’t the colors in these images just breathtaking? What a truly gorgeous shoot we had this day, can’t believe it was so cold, 34 degrees and you can’t even tell. They look like professionals in front of the camera. So much love in their eyes, high school sweethearts, you could just sense their connection being around them. A beautiful Atlanta, Georgia engagement could only be paired with an equally beautiful engagement shoot. After a little bit of searching we were about to find the perfect spot for their shoot, an old mill back in the woods with a stunning waterfall. The characteristics of the mill and the colors of the foliage really made their outfits pop even more! It was so chilly, we were covered in goosebumps, I couldn’t believe that they still got in the water with how cold it was, but they knew the shots they wanted and we made them happen.

Ethan & Cait engagement, secret grotto... St Petersburg engagement photographer

I first met Cait while attending a photography workshop with friends. I was friends with her sister who is a photographer as well. She was there as one of the models. We ended up bonding during that weekend. I was drawn to her sweet nature, free spirit and love for others. She had a sense of adventure and was up for anything! We kept in touch throughout the year and talked often. I asked her to come on for a personal project (which you can see here- http://www.christinamaldonado.com/blog/2014/5/19/all-that-wander-are-not-lostfree-spirit-themed-session. ) We spent the whole day hanging out, having fun and talking about life. This is when she told me about Ethan. They had been "talking" and I could tell that she was head over heels for him. Through out the next few months I was able to watch their love blossom, he was really good for her, treated her well and made her happy. Ethan planned a surprise engagement that involved all their family and close friends, while they were vacationing on the beach. He sang to her and then dropped to one knee...and she said yes!

I was so honored when she told me that she wanted me to be their photographer for their big day! She told me her vision for her engagement session, was "Modern day fairytale." I brought in a styling team to assist with the full vision. They created the most divine set up for her theme, it was beyond dreamy! We had a great time capturing their love that evening. Cait's sister also captured some video of them signing together. Their voices are so beautiful it caused us to tear up. I can not wait to capture their big day in early December!
